An analogue signal is one in which any variation in amplitude or frequency is continuous.
An analogue signal is one in which any variation in amplitude or frequency is continuous. This is in contrast to a digital signal, which has discrete values – like on or off, one or zero. Analogue signals can be more accurate, but they can lose their quality over long distances and carry less information per second than a digital signal.
